2010 National Stationery Show, Part 4: Satire & Snark

Satirical and snarky cards and gifts- which always teeter on the edge of funny vs. rude- have been very popular at the National Stationery Show over the past few years. Here are some that I found particularly entertaining at this year's show.

"Nobody Puts Baby..." card by Sycamore Street Press

More funnies from newcomer Dented Can Greetings. Check out "I'm So Glad to Have a Friend Like You to Talk To" and "Let's Catch Up Soon"....and then the inside of each card, respectively...

I always love visiting Knock Knock's booth. Their tagline is "We put the fun in functional" and I bet you've seen their products before. New this season: "Excuses & Lies", "Insults & Comebacks" and "Pick-Ups and Come-Ons" books ($7.95) and this fabulous "Suck It Up" mug (not yet online).

Not only does Tiselle make some of the prettiest letterpress cards that I've seen (I posted them earlier) but this designer also has a pretty great sense of humor:

p.s. The National Stationery Show has closed for this year (sniff, sniff), but I still have a few more goodies and photos to share with you. I'll do so over the next week or two...so stay tuned.
