After reading this article in New York Magazine recently, I want to go check out the new Limelight Marketplace. It is located in the same landmark space (the historical Episocopal Church) whose most famous incarnation was as *the* Limelight, the famous NYC nightclub from the 1980s. Now it is the funkiest new place to shop. Inside this beautiful building, there's an array of just-opened boutiques where you can buy everything from a baby gift (Silly Souls) to a pair of boots (Hunter's 1st stand-alone shop), or nosh on a slice (Grimaldi's Pizza) or a sweet (CupcakeStop- whose roaming van I have visited!). Here's a guide to all the shops in the new marketplace. I hope to get over there soon and will report back!
