I haven't had a chance to check it out in person yet, but a Japanese children's clothing import called Bit'z Kids landed in New York City's Upper West Side during this past year. The brand is all over Japan with 130 stores nationwide, plus more in China, selling comfortable, cute playclothes for boys and girls ages newborn through 8. I actually like the newborn (up to size 24 months) clothing best, which is good news for my wallet (though the prices aren't bad at all). These Bottom Detailed Baby Pants ($25) are a winner. If you're in NYC to visit the Natural History Museum, you may want to pop in- the store is located nearby at 410 Columbus Avenue. Or shop online at Bit'z Kids.
