If you are Toni Cutts over at The Tattered Cottage, you give it a whole new life by turning it into an elegant bench!Above is her creation before she added a coat of black paint. Note how she used every part of the bed, taking the headboard for the back and splitting the footboard for the arms.
Her finished product is chic and modern, and would be impossible to buy new in any store.
With a little bit of elbow grease and a whole lot of imagination, even thrift finds that appear to have lost their purpose find an entirely new life.
