I've got 2 words for you: Stirrup Pants. Yes, they're back. I wasn't sure why I was getting so many compliments on this 80s-inspired Foil Print Dolman Sweatshirt (on sale for $39.99; was $49.99) paired with black stirrup leggings (on sale for $24.99; was $29.99) from Loft (formerly known as "Ann Taylor Loft"), but I guess they're kinda back-in-vogue right now. Which is pretty funny since I think I wore this exact same outfit in 1985 when I was a gawky thirteen-year-old 8th-grader with braces on both my teeth and back. Right down to the underarm grommets for "ventilation" on the sweatshirt (remember those striped Merona hoodies?). In any event, the outfit looks great on many body types, it super comfortable, and it's on sale now, too (lots of sizes sold out online, so try in-store, too). If the mid-80s are looking this cute again, I'll gladly wear it.
