The New TriNoma Mall

TriNoma, which stands for Triangle North of Manila is the latest undertaking of the Ayalas. Located in North Avenue, EDSA, fronting SM North, it had its "soft opening" last May 16, 2007, while the grand opening will be sometime this June. It has 550-600 shops that include top brands like Mango, Zara, Lacoste and Topshop. But then it also has shops for the masses or those taking the MRT.

This garden-like design reminds me of Greenbelt in a little way. The activity area, however really reminds me of Glorietta. So I would say TriNoma would seem like a combination of the two.

Number of floors = 4
Number of parking levels = 8
Number of cars to accommodate = 8,000
Number of cinemas = 7
Number of water features = 7

According to reports, 550 shops will be high-end, but as far as I can see from the list I gathered, I tend to disagree.

Shops include are but not limited to the following:

I highlighted the shops I usually buy from. And yes, that included Mrs. Fields. LOL! As I was saying, the list doesn't seem too high-end--at least not Powerplant-ish or Shangri-la-ish.

Nonetheless, it will be another destination for shopaholics like me once it fully operates.

Most stores are still under construction so I don't recommend going there as early as now. Wait a little while and we'll have a new place to visit!
