2010 National Stationery Show, Part 1: Best New Products

Oh, I had the BEST time at the National Stationery Show this past weekend. The show had a much livelier buzz than it did last year, perhaps thanks to the improved economy. I saw tons of great stationery & paper products, and "walked" the entire show in about 5 hours (I have the blisters to prove it). I took copious notes and over 200 photographs, which I am still sifting through (along with reading dozens of press kits). Here is the first of a series of posts about the show; these are all designers/products which were selected as "Best New Products" this year. Not all are available to buy online yet (some are from Fall 2010 collections), but wherever possible I have provided links. Enjoy!

My hands-down favorite new product- these cheeky "RIP cards" by Smitten Kitten (Booth 3251) Patrick Swayze and Bea Arthur...love it.

Satirical greetings by Old Tom Foolery (Booth 1720)

Wooden kids' birthday cards by Night Owl Paper Goods (Booth 1644)

Cards by Let Her Press, a collective of five women-run letterpress companies (Booth 1555)

Gorgeous gift wrap (always wish there were more gift wrap at the show) by Wooster & Prince (Booth 3209)

Frameable alphabet prints by PikMe (Booth 2353)

"OMGF" and other letterpress cyber-acronym cards by Gilah Press + Design (Booth 1535).

"Crazy Bear Hug" by Blackbird Letterpress (Booth 1955)

Recipe Cards by Elum Designs (Booth 3013)

Greeting cards by Fishbowl Cards (Booth 1967), focusing on children and adults living with disabilities. So pleased to see these.

Baby letterpress cards and stationery by Smock Paper (Booth 2241)

"Blushing Bridal Collection" from the adorably-named Prints Charming (Booth 2701)

Blue Kaleidoscope Thank-You Notes from Kelp Designs (Booth 1563)

"Hello Books" by Hello Hanna (Booth 1529)

"Kid Stickers" by Evince Design (Booth 2065)

Lots, lots more to come from the 2010 National Stationery Show...please bear with me while I sift through all my finds!
