Gratuitous Celebrity Photos

Not that I wasn't curious to see yesterday's baby "fashion show" launch of Huggies' new limited edition "jeans diapers" (I was, and I do indeed like them, not for everyday for certainly for a fun photo op), but I was also curious to meet celeb mom Rebecca Romijn. As might be expected, she is gorgeous....and happens to be very sweet too (she just kept smiling when my 6-year-old barked "let's go!" after Rebecca said hello to her and complimented her dress). Her husband Jerry O'Connell was equally sociable and chatted happily with bloggers, photographers, and passerbys in Union Square. And he looked very proud of his wife (he also said he was sorry their own twin girls were not in attendance).

We started at the swank W Hotel in Union Square:


We had breakfast at the W Hotel and then Rebecca Romijn arrived for a "meet and greet":

Then we headed out to Union Square for the "fashion show". This is what it looks like when a model/actress and her entourage cross the street in NYC:


My daughter was duly unimpressed by the hooplah and preferred to stay inside the inflatable ball pit that Huggies provided for junior guests (product display in background, naturally)
