I did a double take at the grocery store when picking up this box of Barnum's Animal Crackers for my son...did my eyes deceive me or had the classic packaging been replaced by Lilly Pulitzer? I googled this and found out that yes, indeed, Lilly Pulitzer has designed limited edition packaging for the animal crackers. Starting last month, Kraft Foods has issued one million of these boxes to be distributed throughout the country to raise awareness for tiger conservation (it is the Year of the Tiger, you know), and will donate $100,000 to support the World Wildlife Fund in its tiger conservation efforts. Snacking with a social conscience- I like it! Plus, with the little string handle on the boxes, it's kind of like a little Lilly snack purse for toddlers, right? Have you spotted these at a store?
