I'm always bookmarking articles and blog posts that catch my eye. Of course, I never get to read half of them. But I think some of them will interest my readers, too. Check these out:1) Someone told me about Gizmodo, a techie offshoot of Gawker, and I am hooked. Look at these amazing color photos discovered from 1909.
2) Speaking of Gawker, have you read Richard Lawson's deliciously catty, satirical episode recaps of Real Housewives of New York? He posts them each Friday after the previous night's new episode. If you watch the show, you must read Richard's recaps. Trust me. Here is last week's.
3) And speaking of reality TV, check out this New York Times interview with 9 by Design mom-of-7 Cortney Novogratz. True, it is hard not to like her (though I am wee bit jealous of her $20 million home).
4) While the Novogratzes buy the coolest modernist furniture to decorate their townhouse, I research far more mundane home purchases, like air purifiers (we are sneezing constantly). I've bookmarked Apartment Therapy's new 2010 list of the best air purifiers and hope that you find it helpful, too.
5) Finally, I love when the Social Security Administration releases its list of top baby names for the past year. Check out the top baby names of 2009 (I'm fairly certain that the Novogratz kids' names- Wolfie, Tallulah, Bellamy, Breaker, Five, Holly, and Major- are not on it).
