For five years, my kids have played at a pastel-colored Little Tikes plastic table and chairs set which sits in the far corner of our living room. It is pretty beat-up now, and it's so old that the design has been discontinued. I think they're ready for something a little bigger and nicer. Since both space and money are at a premium, I researched carefully and chose the Carolina Small Table & 2 Chairs Set by Pottery Barn Kids, since it was on sale (reduced to $199 from $237). I liked that you could choose from nearly 2 dozen color combinations- I chose the honey table with antique red chairs, since we have a red accent wall in our living room as well. I can't wait for it to arrive and for the kids to start using it.
