I hadn't paid much attention to e-readers like Amazon's Kindle or Barnes & Noble's Nook, since generally speaking I prefer my books the old-fashioned way (remember, I'm a paper-phile). But, I have to say that my ears perked up when I learned last week (on the heels of the news that Amazon's sales of e-books are on target to outpace paperback sales) that the latest Kindle Wireless Reading Device, Latest Generation Wi-Fi, 6" Display is available for the lowest price ever- just $139. And, now that I educated myself a bit about what the latest Kindle actually features (besides what's mentioned in the nifty graphic above, it includes experimental web browsing over Wi-Fi) I just might consider it at last.
