I don't get to browse shops outside of New York City often because, well, I don't get to travel much for a whole bunch of reasons. But when I got to go to Martha's Vineyard for a few days this past August, imagine my surprise when I walked smack into Tyler and Tallulah, a European designer boutique of children's clothing that hosted a 2nd blogiversary giveaway for us last year. I had totally forgotten they were located there. I was thrilled to visit the shop in person, chat with its owner Beth Vages, and browse the latest fall trends (as well as the remaining summer lovelies). The shop has a beautiful vintage vibe, and in addition to purchasing clothing by designers like Room Seven, Oilily, and Jottum, you can peruse all sorts of girly gifts, books, and knick-knacks:
And now onto the clothing. I loved all the selections by Lemon Loves Lime, including the Aurora Dot Tees ($28) and Cascade Skirts ($54)...
...and these ruffle-trim toddler track-suits.
CakeWalk is another popular European line that always sells fast in the shop.
Beth showed me the summer line by Paper Wings, including this Paisley Poplin Dress ($130, sizes 4-12). Meg Ryan, who supposedly has a house on Martha's Vineyard, has popped by the store several times and bought this dress for her daughter, Daisy.
More Paper Sky and Room Seven selections that sold out quickly this summer:
European brands like these don't come cheap, but Tyler and Tallulah frequently hosts giveaways for its loyal customers and newsletter subscribers. So if you like what you see, follow them on Facebook or Twitter; you just may luck out and win some tres chic European threads for your princess.
