As all dads do, they worry, especially when it comes to finances. Dad made it clear to me that he wouldn't be happy if I spent a ton of money on a Fathers Day gift, so I relied on my garage sale-ing luck for finding the perfect gift that suited my dad's personality. I didn't have to look very hard at a church rummage sale in Los Angeles to spy a wooden carved eagle perched proudly on a table. Dad has an affinity toward eagles, so this Japanese wooden piece would be a welcomed addition to his collection. I love the way this eagle's feathers are delicately curled, and his price tag was definitely right!
