Before I take a break to celebrate the Jewish New Year (I'll be posting again this weekend), I want to introduce you to this little cutie...our new neighbor and friend Baby Lila. You may remember that her mom Aimee asked me for advice about simple non-photo birth announcements earlier this year. Aimee and I met when our boys were in a toddler class together. They live right across the street so playdates (and now snuggles with the new baby) are easy to arrange.
Lila was born on August 7th (S's 4th birthday!) and I first met her when she was 10 days old. I loved photographing her and all the "pink" that has flooded their apartment (the grandmas have gone a wee bit overboard buying onesies...)
Is there anything more sweet and promising than a newborn baby? Course not!
Oh, and as for the announcements that Aimee chose, she opted for these Floral Cards by William Arthur, available at Fine Stationery (they are shown as invitations, but Aimee adapted them to use as announcements). Aren't they pretty?

Congrats to the K. family!
(And wishing those of you who celebrate Rosh Hashanah a very sweet and happy New Year!)
